What HockeyReady is

HockeyReady provides AI-generated hockey coaching guidance, including session plans, drills and season plans, for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified coach, formal coaching qualifications, or your governing body's age-grade regulations.

Coach responsibility

You remain solely responsible for the safety, suitability and supervision of every session you run. This includes risk assessment, checking equipment, facilities and playing conditions (especially artificial pitches), ensuring activities are appropriate for the age, experience and ability of your players, and complying with your club's and governing body's safeguarding requirements. Always follow your governing body's age-grade regulations (England Hockey in England, Hockey Ireland, Hockey Wales, Scottish Hockey) and the FIH Rules of Hockey for the format you are coaching.

Where HockeyReady supports you

HockeyReady is currently built for coaches in England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. If you use HockeyReady in any other country, you do so entirely at your own risk, and you remain responsible for ensuring all activities comply with your local laws and governing body requirements.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HockeyReady accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of any session plan, drill, activity or content generated by the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions — review all plans before use.

Subscriptions, tiers & fair use

• HockeyReady offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Pro costs £5.99 per month, inclusive of VAT — the founding member price. The standard price is £7.99 per month; the founding price is locked for as long as your subscription remains active.
• Free plan: 1 AI-generated session plan per week; plans are built from our verified drill library (library zones); one age group, set when you sign up; browser print export.
• Pro plan: unlimited session plans; custom focus-area generation as well as the drill library; all age groups; season plans; polished PDF export.
• Downgrading from Pro to Free: every plan you have already saved stays in your library and remains fully editable. New plan generation reverts to the Free plan limits, and all other Pro features lock. Any AI-based regeneration of an existing plan counts towards the Free plan's weekly limit; manual text edits stay unlimited.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in GBP via your chosen payment method. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Plan limits and fair-use caps (including the weekly plan limit and the number of selectable zones or focus areas) may change with reasonable notice; the current limits are always shown in the app.

Cancellations & refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where you exercise your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: if you are a UK consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing and receive a full refund by contacting us via the in-app chat or our Contact page. Outside that 14-day period, due to the digital nature of the Service and the immediate access provided to AI-generated session plans and features, we do not offer refunds, credits or prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your paid billing period.

Player data & your responsibilities

We handle personal data, including player data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always available on this page.

Dispute resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first via the in-app chat or Contact page — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. If we cannot resolve the matter informally within 30 days of you contacting us, the dispute shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, and you and HockeyReady agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal legal action. Any resolution of a dispute (including any refund or compensation) is limited to the total subscription fees you have paid to HockeyReady.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
