Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of HockeyReady ("the Service"), operated by HockeyReady. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • "The Service" refers to the HockeyReady platform, including session planning, season planning, the drill library, and all associated features.
  • "User" or "Coach" refers to any person who creates an account and uses the Service.
  • "Session Plans" refers to AI-generated training plans and any customised versions created by the User.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • HockeyReady offers two plans: Free (limited features) and Pro (£7.99/month incl. VAT). Founding members can lock in Pro at £5.99/month incl. VAT — applied automatically at checkout for the first 50 subscribers, held for as long as the subscription stays continuously active.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in GBP via your chosen payment method. All prices include VAT where applicable.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • We reserve the right to change standard pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Discounted rates (such as the founding member rate) are honoured for as long as the subscription remains active and are not affected by standard price changes.

4. Refunds & Cancellation

Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where you exercise your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: if you are a UK consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing and receive a full refund by contacting us via the in-app chat or Contact page. Outside that 14-day period, due to the digital nature of the Service and the immediate access provided to AI-generated session plans and features, we do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your paid billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Users must provide accurate account information.
  • Users may not share account credentials with others.
  • Users may not use the Service to create content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.
  • Session plans are for the User's coaching use. Users may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated session plans without written permission.

6. Data & Privacy

  • HockeyReady stores your account information, session plans, season plans and saved drills securely, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and does not share it with third parties. Your data is only visible to the coach account that created it.
  • Users can delete their account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
  • We recommend coaches follow their club's data protection policies and applicable UK GDPR regulations when sharing session plans with players, parents or assistant coaches.

7. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

  • HockeyReady, its branding, software, and AI models are the intellectual property of HockeyReady.
  • Session plans generated by the Service may be used by the User for their coaching activities.
  • The Service and its underlying algorithms may not be reverse-engineered or copied.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • HockeyReady is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
  • Session plans are AI-generated suggestions. Coaches are responsible for ensuring sessions are safe, appropriate, and compliant with their governing body's regulations, including England Hockey and FIH rules and guidance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
